Who are we? What is our heritage and destiny?

Lausanne
David Hamilton lead us into a time of reflecting on on who we are as YWAM. This is significant as we enter the next ten year marker. "Who are we? What is our heritage and destiny?" Taking us to look a fresh at our calling, goal and scope. Are we living to see God`s dream for every individual and nation come to know Him, come true? Then, David challenged, we`re not head over heels in love with the Lord.
Maureen Menard, another V.P. of the UofN, talked about John 15:16 - we "were chosen to bear much fruit". God "knows you, your name, giftings, and how you are wired. The Lord has led you to this moment `for such a time as this`!"
Today we worshiped the Lord in the form of confessing with our tongues what the Lord`s been doing in the colleges of the University of the nations. Markus Steffen did a great job leading from the Lausanne campus into praise for what was reported and as the "M.C.". Hearing from a panel of the deans of the different colleges, share an update on progress they have seen and visions they have for the future in order to transform the nations.
Again, with multiple options of seminars, there was something for everyone... fitting with Maureen`s talk of diversity and using the focus He has given us (see below for list of sessions).
Tonight, we gathered in a different location, with a different focus. At 18:15, the buses were filled with workshop participants right out side of the chalet in order to be in Ouchy by "Heartbridge`s" (performing arts DTS from Kona) performance at 19:00. There must have been 200 people there as wonderful conversations broke out after the first of the two performances. Hearing so much about "GO-ing" to share with the world who He is and what He`s done for us, it was great to have such an opportunity to see how that would look, taking the classroom to the streets (so to speak).
All in all, it was another great day together as we sought His face and drew closer to the heart of God. He is good, and greatly to be praised, will ALL that we are. Blessings to you reader, thanks for sharing with us in this way.
