A great start for the UofN Workshop Kiev 2009
Mon, 07 Sep 2009
After the welcome the workshop opens with Kiev's local celebration. It is a cultural welcoming presentation of 2 musicians on traditional instruments telling stories about of the history of Ukraine, presented by Joyes Smidt of Culture of Arts & Sports and participation from our own children.
After the greeting from the different sites, Kiev presented themselves with a cultural celebration of bread and salt. The bread and salt symbolized the most expensive substance in the last century. Sharing that with other people means hospitality and a feast. That is how we want to welcome everybody on the other sites.
Loren Cunningham opens the teaching with a introduction of the book of Esther.
For such a time as this from the book of Esther.
We are excited for what God has for us for this week.
